Goofy has been making firends the world over since his creation in the 1930s as the amusing, awkward, toothy, curious , and good-spirited dog we all know and love. In 1983, the year of the adicolor inception, adidas were approached for a unique collaboration between The Walt disney Company annd the International tennis Federation to raise interest for tennis among teenagers, yet the world famous character became the promoter of all kinds of sports with the message that "it doesn't matter if you win or loose; just get up, try and, most of all, have fun."

Named after the legendary US tennis player the Stan Smith Comfort is an adidas classic. The model has been reworked here to elevate Goofy's collaboration with pen graphics on the velcro straps and embossed details on the toe box and heel strap. The set of pens that comes with it are a means for customization on this model that is presented alongside a Sorts Goofy Postcard.
